Ireland has become an increasingly multi-cultural society. For many non-native English speakers improving your standard of English is not only a desire but a necessity. We recognise that many of you are working, that is why the Kildare Language Institute offers intensive courses in the evenings. Courses are available at all levels from complete beginner to near-native speaker fluency.
Methodology
All classes are taught in a relaxed and supportive classroom environment where students are encouraged to ask questions and participate fully. The crucial benefit of KLI Adult language courses is that we keep student numbers in each class low which ensures greater student interaction and progress!

Each course is specifically structured with clear aims and objectives to ensure that each student makes significant progress on a weekly basis. All core areas are covered – Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, Vocabulary, Grammar, Pronunciation as well as other key areas. A significant emphasis is placed on students becoming more confident and fluent speaking the language. Students attending classes at the Kildare Language Institute also receive superior quality copyright notes. Students wishing to prepare for international exams (e.g. Cambridge) will receive detailed instruction on exam techniques to enhance their exam performance.
Various teaching techniques and stimuli are used to further enhance learning. Classes are taught in an interactive and relaxed atmosphere where students are encouraged to ask questions and participate fully in class. As well as providing you with the highest standards of teaching, we remain committed to ensuring that each student studies in a friendly, caring and supportive environment. We monitor each student’s progress to ensure that he/she achieves his/her maximum potential.
