The Kildare Language Institute (KLI) is renowned for its academic excellence in the teaching and learning of English as an Additional Language. The Kildare Language Institute (KLI) offers an extensive range of English language courses including: Standard English, Intensive English, Business English, English for Special Purposes, as well as English for international exams such as Cambridge and IELTS. Junior Courses and Adult Courses are taught separately.

Course Content

Each course is specifically structured with clear aims and objectives to ensure that each student makes significant progress on a weekly basis. All core areas are covered – Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, Vocabulary, Grammar, Pronunciation as well as other key areas. A significant emphasis is placed on students becoming more confident and fluent speaking the language. Students attending classes at the Kildare Language Institute also receive superior quality copyright notes. Students wishing to prepare for international exams (e.g. Cambridge) will receive detailed instruction on exam techniques to enhance their exam performance.
Various teaching techniques and stimuli are used to further enhance learning. Classes are taught in an interactive and relaxed atmosphere where students are encouraged to ask questions and participate fully in class. We monitor each student’s progress to ensure that he/she achieves his/her maximum potential.
